Within Erasmus+, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) welcomes especially administrative staff from partner universities involved in international relations and student and staff exchanges. The purpose is to allow the beneficiaries to learn by transfer of knowledge or know-how from the experiences and good practices of a partner institution, and thereby to acquire practical skills relevant for their current job and their professional development.
The Erasmus Staff Week programme includes:
• Presentations and workshops: Organization of Student Exchange with Latin American Universities (Incoming and Outgoing perspective), Advising of international PhD students and visiting researchers from Latin America; Ciencias-sem-Fronteiras programme; Strategic Internationalization; Country focus Brazil;
• Guided tour of Erlangen and / or Nürnberg
• Meeting with Latin American students and Staff
• Intercultural Trainings (México, Brasil, Costa Rica planned)
• Visit of the Centro Universitario de Baviera para América Latina (BAYLAT)
• optional participation in cultural events of the „Lateinamerikawoche“ in Nürnberg
