MERCOSUR IPR SME Helpdesk organises in collaboration with the Embassy of Argentina in Germany and support of the Enterprise Europe Network Partners Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH and ZAB Zukunftsagentur Brandenburg GmbH a workshop on “Protecting and Exploiting your IP Assets in South America” with a special focus on Argentina.

Mercosur is South America’s leading trade bloc which encompasses Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela with a merchandise trade of over US Billion. Brazil and Argentina account of 43% of this total. The EU counts among the major trade partners. The merchandise trade with the EU amounts to 20%.

Hear from experts on protecting your assets and trading internationally with the MERCOSUR region. The workshop is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on information about opportunities of doing business in the MERCOSUR region, notably Argentina. It offers facts and hints to IP issues to be considered.
